we returned to Incontro to enjoy their typical dinner menu. we ordered the Insalata Della Casa and though the candied walnuts, vinaigrette and chunks of cheese were great the leafy parts were not crisp but plenty of edges were limp. Incontro's bread has a soft outer and a dense inside that I find too dense. as with our last visit we had to ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar. perhaps Incontro takes a cue from some restaurants in Rome where olive oil is not automatically provided (and the EVOO is an extra cost option). The Risotto Special of shrimp and asparagus was liked by the person who ordered it, the Spaghetti Alle Vongole also got a thumbs up. The Penne Alle Pescatora was decent but there was a desire for more shellfish. The Frutti Di Mare Alla Siciliana was excellent except that there were chili flakes in the dish, not mentioned in the menu. the first few bites caught me by surprise but after that the dish was fine. it had the right consistency and there was plenty of seafood in it. As with our last visit we had to ask for Parmesan. the wait staff remains attentive and Antonio who runs Incontro is pleasant and makes sure he is in contact with all the tables. I have no reservations in returning to Incontro but I would like to see the wobbles corrected.
