We have just had 2 nights at the Quality Inn Gettysburg Motor Lodge. Although not a new motel our room was clean and large, the king bed was incredibly soft and comfy and for 2 couples travelling from Australia we were pleased to find a motel that doesn't allow pets. Breakfast is included in the tariff and was more than adequate. The property is in an excellent location with easy access to the battlefield. I have to make special mention of the housekeeping and maintenance staff who were very friendly and helpful. We were unable to get back into our room after breakfast due to a malfunctioning security gadget on our door. The housekeeper who was in the room next door rang through to maintenance. The lovely maintenance man had the faulty device sawed off and we were back in our room within minutes. When we returned that afternoon the device had been replaced. There is also a small gym and the inside pool and spa were open during our visit. All in all a lovely stay.
