My husband and I have actually been to a number of inns. The authenticity of the Brafferton cannot be denied. This time we were not pleased with the stand-offish atmosphere. As other reviews have stated the breakfast offerings could not be beat. The room we had was nobodies fault but my own. I was not impressed at all. If I had had the nerve I would have asked to change. Probably will not go back. Parking is another issue. The parking is not free but rather you have to feed a meter every 2 hours or use the garage that caps off at $10.00 but only if it's left there all day. It is, however, very centrally located so we were able to walk wherever we wanted to go but not possible if you are unable to do that much walking.
