“Loved this tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

We came to town never having heard of Jennie Wade, but ended up taking this tour and absolutely loving it. It wasn't a huge time committment - maybe 30 to 45 minutes - but we found it to be a very interesting piece of Gettyburg history. It was very well worth the price of admission and the time spent there.

Very small, but very interesting place. The gift shop is worth the stop, and the history is amazing. If your feeling up to it talk the tour and see what you might "find"

“The people side of gettysburg”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

It was a interesting tour, as it got into the people side on the battle. Touring the house was interesting, but it was only 30 min (small house). I would say that it was an average value for the tour cost.

“the Jennie Wade Story”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

this is a must stop and see for anyone who wishes to study the battle of Gettysburg, not only the story of the only civillian killed in the battle ,but the story of the rest of the people who were in the house ,why they were there in the first place, the soldiers outside and the letters that never was delivered ,thisbullet riddled site helps preserve a very tragic and human story ,it helps turn an event and a date into something very real , and for our guide Emma great job
