“It was alright”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

This museum was just alright. It is definitely on the smaller side, in an old home. Our boys were just turning 6 when we went and they were running out of interest within about an hour. Maybe it is more for younger children or would hold the interest of kids that are a little less high energy ; )

“Fun but this place could use updating . ”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

My daughter (2) had fun but this place could use a lot of updating. The stuff here was clearly from the 90s and some of it wasn't in good condition. We found this place from trip advisor and everyone raved. We were on vacation and thought this would be a fun thing for our little one to get her hands on. The bubble thing was cool if you could actually make the bubble, I didn't seem to hold that skill lol. The animals in the "nature room" aka a hall way had what 3 animals? The art room was nice for kids who like painting (daughter was having a blast) the construction room didn't have much and neither did the room between the hall with the animals and the art room. The glow in the dark room (another tiny hall) wasn't much either. The cool thing about this place is it did have some civil war era stuff which was super cute! Daughter loved playing with the market and tent. We were here for maybe 40 min total it was not worth the money unless your kid is older and can understand a lot of the stuff happening. Unless they updated their "museum" we won't be coming back.

“VERY NICE!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Gettysburg is undoubtedly an adult oriented town, but this place is just for the kiddos! It was very nice and Andrea was a wonderful host. The location was very historic and my daughter wanted to go back when we returned to Abingdon!

“Very fun and creative!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013 via mobile

My kids love this place!! It is very creative and well thought out, and the activities are so interesting! The kids loved standing in a bubble, and making arts and crafts upstairs! It is very reasonably priced and well worth the time! Also very close to home for us!

“the kids loved it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Great place for the kids..tons of stuff for them to do for about 2 to 3 hours. Stinks that adults have to pay $5 admission, but we made sure we got in the giant bubble and had lots of fun blowing bubbles for the kids outside. Our kids spent as much time in the backyard as they did in the house itself. All around good time, very friendly staff. Would return.
