“Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

You may feel a little cramped when you first walk in, but everyone is so friendly and the food was great. Incredible french fries, with enormous proportions. Plenty of stuff to look at on the walls while you're waiting for your burger to grill... Convenient, too, right in the midst of everything on Steinwehr Avenue.

Hope to try out the breakfast menu next time!

“A Gem in Gettysburg!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

This is not fancy restaurant but If you want great food, great service at a steal of a price, this is the place! The cheese steak sandwiches were excellent, just the right amount of cheese and a really fresh roll. The fresh lemonade was great and my husband loved the root beer float he had. The helpings of fries are huge, a small fed both of us. We saw the large and it is enormous and can easily feed a family of four if not more! Service was fast and friendly. This was a gem of a find, we'd drive back the hour and a half just for the cheese steak sandwich, it was that good!

“Awesome place with good Food”

Liked the navy hats that are on the ceiling and the different signs. Good chicken cheese steak and awesome fries. A must visit to fill your belly before you go walking through Gettysburg.

“Not disappointed at all!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

We were searching for a restaurant in Gettysburg and saw the restaurants with outdoor dining and lots of people eating. All looked very busy. We decided to check trip advisor for recommendations and found Hunt's Battlefield Fries & Café at #4. The other's we saw were lower ranked. We read the great reviews and decided to give it a try. We loved it! We were not disappointed at all. Sweet staff, great burger, great cheesesteak and great wings. It is one of those places you would probably walk right by and go to one of the bigger restaurants but we were glad we found it!

“Great food! Excellent service! Crowded quarters.”

Wonderful waitress. She was fantastic with a great sense of humor. Be aware that all foods are sold separately including the sides. Inside of restraint needs to be organized and decluttered. Food is very good!!!!
