“A good place for breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013 via mobile

My father-n-law took my wife and I there this past week for breakfast. Parking is a little tight. But the food is good. The home fries were the only thing I didn't think was all that good. Everything else was great. Our waitress was very friendly and professional. We had a good experience and will be back next time we're in town.

“Just what we needed!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

We got back to the hotel late after a long day of activities. We were staying at The Gettysburg Hotel downtown. The Lincoln Diner was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so we were glad to find it as all other restaurants were closed! It is an old fashioned diner and was crowded, even at the late hour. The food choices were what you would expect from a 24/7 diner. Service was good.

“Great Diner, Great Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

The Lincoln Diner has not disappointed each time we have visited. Yes, it is a diner, but a great one. If you're looking for a nice hot meal at a reasonable price this is it, nothing fancy here. The wait staff has always been friendly and helpful. We went once for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning and were seated right away. The food was hot and delicious. Another time we visited, it was in the summer on a weeknight around midnight. No other restaurants were open after our ghost tour, so we stopped here. The late night food was great, and their desserts are so incredibly good, not to mention homemade. Don't skip the eclairs...SO good!

“Reasonably priced place to grab a bite to eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

We ate at this place several times several times and found the food enjoyable, the service excellent and the prices quite reasonable.
Unfortunately they had a fried haddock on the menu for $7.99 which I ordered after asking if it was really haddock and not Swai. The waitress said it was haddock.
I should have known better. It turned out to be Swai, which has a very different texture, but a mild taste.
(Swai is often passed off as Haddock at fish fries in the south because it's much less expensive.)
Other than that experience, the place is pretty good.
