I went here with my husband, one year old, and inlaws, who were visiting from overseas. My father in law is a "foodie" and former chef so he is QUITE picky. Let me tell you that Sidney's at Willoughby Run got his stamp of approval!
We got some plates as starters and one small plate each and were more than satisfied. The menu is divided into two parts: shareable plates and small plates. The waitress suggested 3-4 small plates each but we averaged 1.5 each. Our table enjoyed every single item that we ordered-- from the flatbread and hummus to the crab macaroni to the steak (and a few others). We were highly impressed and our appetites were more than satisfied.
A previous reviewer warned that the small plates weren't enough food-- well, yes. Small plates alone aren't meant to be entire meals. For the caliber of the food, ingredients, and flavor, I found the prices to be reasonable. There are some choices that are really economically priced. My husband and I could have had an easy $20 meal by sharing the flatbread w/ hummus and the white pizza.
The restaurant is sparsely decorated but I'm not picky in that regard. The setting (an old golf club recently purchased by the NPS) is peaceful and you can walk on the old cart paths after dinner. I felt very comfortable taking my baby here. We will definitely go again!
