“Good stay if you have pets”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW via mobile

Good stay for the money . The room was large, it was clean, and the bed very comfortable . Great place if you have pets , lots of grass, and places to walk
The deli in the lobby was terrible, I would not recommend it. My sandwich was one slice of meat on bread with lettuce & tomato. That was my only complaint

This place was a dump! I don't mind old but I want clean. There were holes in the wall for wires, lamp in the corner without an outlet, filthy hall carpeting, a lousy smell in the place, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and I took the quickest shower in history. The pool....OMG and the chairs near the pool were shakey and some even broken. The dust on the headboard....I cleaned it myself. Why did we stay you ask....it was an Army Reunion and management promised the world, the old bait and switch. I could go on but you get the point. And for all this luxury, $109.89 per night.

This must have been great in its day. We stayed in the older section so the newer Aspire may be great. We were at a conference so we were stuck or I would have walked day one.

We spent the first hour just trying to get into a room. None of the key cards worked except the manager's key. The room we did get smelled musty and I couldn't walk barefoot on the carpet. There were dead insects scattered about and on day three housekeeping got to cleaning them up. The tub fixtures were disgusting. Stained ceiling. Sheets that came off the bed and stay that way the second you pull the blankets back.

The grounds are neglected and beaten up.

DO NOT EAT at the restaurant. Instant mashed potatoes and frozen food at ridiculous prices. McDonald's is actually better.

Two pluses. The rooms are pretty sound proof BUT the pressure flush toilets can be heard. They do have Grey Goose vodka.

Room Tip: Bring your own pillows. Be prepared to eat out.

everything about this facility was excellent. From check in to checkout the staff was friendly and very helpful. All directions to sights and monuments were correct and the lounge was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to visit Gettysburg.

The Eisenhower was a little outdated & somewhat rundown. They're do for some renovations. The staff were nice & helpful. Overall the price of the stay wasn't worth the money. The area was very beautiful.

This place is okay. We got a special room rate of $69 for an event. It's clean but really outdated and needs Hotel Impossible to come here. The checkin process was smooth. The "deli" was awkward and one of the workers there was rude. It's a maze navigating here with lots of twists and turns to find the room. If you want a cheap, acceptable room it might be worth a visit.

Horrible. Access doors unlocked, only a sheet on mattress, no staff around in evening, needed a soap couldn't find anyone to get it, no maid service, mildew in bathroom, indoor pool was like a rain forest, awful, left a day early. No one should be given rooms in this old hotel. Everyone should be sent to the Aspire and not have the option until it it completely renovated. Stay away

Room Tip: Stay elsewhere
