We drove into town and had a late lunch here (and returned the following day for lunch because my kids begged to go again!) It turns out that they were brand new and had only been open for 6 days. Knowing that, I would have thought that they would have been far more disorganized but they seemed to be on top of it all both food and service wise. The menu had something for everyone and was creative - the burgers were all named after either union or confederate leaders and came with either an american or confederate flag stuck in the top!) My kids loved the fried shrimp, crabcake sandwich was good, and the burgers were cooked perfectly and I even tried I think it was the Meade that had peanut butter in it because it sounded interesting (it was good!) Portion sizes were generous too. The owners were a young couple who were very friendly and came back to check on us often and make conversation about where we were from and what we were seeing in Gettysburg. The location on the square was very convenient for us as our B&B was down the street and was a good spot to watch the cars and people coming through the square. Good beer on tap too and lots of TVs for sports. Great spot to recharge from our sightseeing. I wish them the best of luck in their new business! We had a great experience there.
