“Very quitet - easy to find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This was the 2nd day of a 2 week trip down the East Coast. Very easy to find, right off main road. Located in an Outlet Mall, with a good restaurant right across the parking lot. Front desk receptionist very friendly and helpful. Rather old fashioned, great if you like the "country feel". Plenty of room to spread out, 2 rooms. Bed very comfortable. Room very quiet. A/C was a dated window version not central, but adjusting it was a minor inconvenience. Breakfast was very plentiful, and more than adequate, good selection for those that are heavy eaters.

Room Tip: Upper floors in front, as back of hotel backs up to main road.

This place was amazing. When you first walk in its so cozy and everyone is so nice. Very accommodating which is a comfort when you are away from home. Only one thing my boyfriend can complain about was the shower. He is rather tall and the shower head is a little lower then what is needed. Other than than an amazing stay!

This is a nice spacious hotel. The rooms are an excellent size and very clean. Gettysburg town centre is about 10 mins by car and there is a free shuttle bus. There is an outlet mall located by the hotel, so if you like to shop this would be heaven! Breakfast was good. Quiet location, ample parking. You can borrow a CD to guide you around the battlefields, at reception, for a small fee. We felt one of the receptionists could have been more helpful, but generally the staff were friendly. Recommended.

Great property. A little outdated but not horrible. It fits with the style of Gettysburg. Breakfast was great. Service was great. Our room was perfect for us. It has a great location. Right next to the outlet mall!. It was just down the road from downtown Gettysburg. They even had a free trolley that takes you down there. Awesome experience. Will be back!

We travel about 10 weeks a year and the Country Inns is our favorite chain....The rooms are spacious, usually with high ceilings, nice sized bathrooms and comfy beds. This one was located a few miles from the National Park Headquarters and right by the Outlet stores and movie theatre. A free bus runs frequently to take yoou to the other attractions, downtown, park, etc. A very good value, even includes a full hot breakfast along with along with all the usual continental breakfast item. (Ham and cheese omelettes, home fries and waffles the day we were there) Great value. We will stay here again!

You may be travelling to Gettysburg for a raft of reasons, but there is a good chance that you've come to see the battlefield and historic town. This hotel is a little way outside Gettysburg itself, although close to the National Park visitor centre, part of an outlet mall development just off the US-15.

Unfortunately it appears that there isn't a taxi service in Gettysburg, so if you want to go and eat out in the evening (and have a drink) then you are somewhat limited.

The rooms are large and clean, but a little tired. When I was there there was also a problem with the elevator. The staff were friendly.

Good:
Convenient and easy to find from the US-15
Spacious rooms
Nice staff

Bad:
Not close to the centre of town
Elevator issue

I recently stayed here during a visit with family in the area. I live on the West Coast, so after my long flight to PA I was exhausted and ready to fall into bed!

Normally the check-in process at hotels is a hassle, and can take a long time-- but not here! This staff was extremely helpful and FAST! I was checked-in and in my room in just a few short minutes! I couldn't believe it. To top it off, the guy checking me in asked where I was from and noticed how tired I looked and upgraded my room for free. I was really shocked at this!

Not only was the staff great, but the rooms were really spacy and comfortable. I didn't even feel like I was at a hotel. It was definitely an experience I could get used to.

I don't make it back often, but when I do I know I'll be back here. They really seemed like they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and happy. It was like I was the only person staying there (and believe me, I wasn't!)

Thanks again for the great experience!
