The still new visitor's center is a much bigger place to see about the battle. A couple of things I was not happy about; first, the place is bigger, but there seems to be less stuff on display. I am ok with paying the fee, which you did not do at first. The items on display are nice and well displayed. The second thing is the loss of the electric map. The electric map was integral to the old museum and was a great display to show the whole battle. The fact it was chopped up and placed in a barn is sad. You need to hit the visitors center if you are visiting the battlefield.
