If you haven't had enough walking this is a nice, quiet spot with gorgeous, old trees. The graves of the Civil War victims are moving mostly because of their anonymity. Also, you can read Lincoln's famous address.

“Very interesting and u must stop by the evergreen cem. Next door”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Very peaceful and sad when you walk in this place. You are amazed at the giant monuments and you read the signs of words from another time. Before u go here go to the Evergreen cemetery next door u can drive thru that one, not this one. See jenny wades tombstone. It was a must for use to find.
As we left the Evergreens we saw a huge hawk right next to me staring off. My Prius was quiet so he did not know we where there. I wanted to get my camera, but if was just amazed how beautiful he looked staring off at the cemetery. He was almost like a guardian. Very peaceful.

“Incredible and a must see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

What a great experience! Bring your walking shoes and camera, this is a must when in the area! We did a field guided tour of battle field first and our guide told us to come back here and walk around! What an unbelievable feeling we had, so humbling and makes you aware of the loss of lives in this very small town.

“Should definitely see this!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

I saw the cemetery on a beautiful fall day. It was awe-inspiring. A volunteer there provided some additional background to the site and how Lincoln came to visit there. Don't omit this site from a visit to Gettysburg!
