This was an excellent tour. If you go book your tour early in the morning as it is less busy and crowded and your bus driver is not fighting the afternoon traffic. When we told a few people we were interested in taking this tour we were told that many tourist stop at the Military Visitor Center and get the map and CD self driving tour. We saw many of the tourist driving their cars slowly near the different points of interest and trying to find places to stop to view the monuments etc. causing the buses to have to slow down and wait; but because we took the early tour it was not bad and only a minor inconvience. This tour is wonderful, and is narrated by the driver and a prerecorded tape. As you drive you see the battlefields and believe me they are one after another and hear the narrative over the speakers of actors playing the different generals and soldiers with the sounds of canons and guns firing. The driver stops the tape a certain points and stops the bus and gives you more information about what you are seeing and answers questions.... also when the driver stops you can take pictures from the bus, it has vista type windows that are large and obstruction free; all my pictures turned out very nice and I only have a point a shoot camera. During the two hour tour we stopped for a bathroom break half way through and also when you get to the biggest battlefield at the Little Round Top (very elevated point) you can get out and look down over the battlefield from up on high. As you stand by the statue of General Warren looking over the battlefield the view is breath taking, although soleum knowing the death and injury that took place. This trip is very enlightening and informative and we would highly recommend it.
