I was a little hesitant to stay here, given the mixed reviews. I have stayed at the Lowes & Sofietel in Philly, & liked the Radisson Warwick the best. The location is prime, within walking distance to many great shops and resturaunts. The building itself is older, and seems to have been renovated relatively recently. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the menus for both the resturaunt and room service were outstanding and the prices reasonable.

Dont be afraid to try this hotel - you will be pleasantly suprised!

Needed a place to stay in Philly for one night. We were traveling for pleasure and primarily focused on location. The Warwick is in a great spot. Good neighborhood, walking distance to anything City Center, a stumble away from Rittenhouse square. The hotel was fine, the people were incredibly nice and the room was mediocre (leaky toilet, sleep number bed didn't really work). It's certainly a fine place to stay, and given that we got a great price we were happy. Again, the staff was great. But I wouldn't spend a ton to stay here.

I have stayed at this property many times over the past 10 years. It has changed hands at least once. Since Radisson took over, all the rooms I believe were renovated. I use this hotel for business, when all I need is a comfortable, convenient and clean place to stay at a reasonable price. This is what you will get at this hotel. I enjoy the sleep number bed. The rooms are quite roomy for a center city hotel. You are close to Rittenhouse Square which is nice. Valet parking makes the experience much easier, just pull up and let someone else worry about your vehicle. I ordered breakfast via room service this stay and it was just OK - the apple sausage was awful and for $18 it probably wasn't worth it. Try the small diner across the street, Little Pete's. Also, if you like beer, be sure to try Monk's just around the corner. If you want to be in the city center, this is a solid and reliable choice.

Worst hotel stay ever. Sure, maybe there were a few redeeming qualities, the only thing that comes to mind right now is the location, but any redeeming qualities this hotel may have were completely negated by my negative experience. First, I get to the hotel by 2PM and I have to wait about 20 minutes in the lobby for my key because they were "cleaning" my room. Not that big a deal. When I finally settle in my room for the evening I am freezing and no matter how I adjust the thermostat, no heat comes up, so front desk sends up a maintenance guy who has to fix the thermostat. Up until this point, my stay was still ok. Evening comes and I go to use the bathroom and notice that there are pubic hairs in the tub, the toilet smells like [--], and there are actual poop smudges on the bowl! But that's not even the worst of it. Finally at the end of the night when I am about to take a shower (after rinsing someone else's pubic hairs down the drain), there is no hot water. When I call the front desk they say they know. They were having scheduled maintenance of the plumbing or something and the hot water would be off all night and "should" be back by 5 AM the next morning. Of course no one bothered to tell me this when I booked my room, or when I checked in. "Didn't you get the note under your door?" they asked (which I did not). Unbelievable and completely unacceptable that after working out I was not able to take a shower in my hotel room that I paid good money for and I had to be out of my room first thing the next morning for an interview. Terrible experience. I highly advise that you DO NOT stay at this hotel!

We booked the hotel after getting a last-minute deal on Hotwire Ticker for $115/night. The location is great - in a decent neighborhood - with plenty of shops & restaurants in easy walking distance. Unfortunately, there's a ton of construction (both building & road) going on in that area right now, so access to the hotel & parking is a challenge.

Photos of the hotel make it seem like the front entrance is in clear view, but this isn't the case; poor signage didn't help either, and access to the Radisson's parking garage (down a narrow, partially obstructed alley) is only indicated by a "Warwick Parking" sign painted on the side of the building. The hotel's website implied they had self-service parking available - not so. Be prepared to add $30/night for valet parking (plus tips) to the room price. Also, be prepared to drag your own bags to the front desk; the garage is so crowded, there's no room to navigate a luggage cart. (We packed light, so this didn't affect us...but I could see problems for people with lots of luggage.)

The lobby is gorgeous and the front desk staff was friendly. We ate in the hotel restaurant Tavern17; their food was excellent (although service was a bit slow.) I'd definitely eat there again.

We wound up getting an ADA-accessible hotel room for some reason, which gave us a lot more space. The decor was very modern and very clean - a big plus in my book! However, I wasn't crazy about the sleep number bed: difficult to "program" and just plain uncomfortable. I'd suggest bringing ear plugs to block out extra noise from the corridor too.

The bathroom needed help. The sink was new, but the toilet & bathtub were old, chipped, dingy and stained - kinda gross. The lighting was atrocious: a 2-bulb fluorescent fixture that was so dim, we had to leave the door open to get enough light to take showers! There wasn't even enough light to put my makeup on (I had to use the bedroom mirror/lights.) Very disappointing.

I'd rate this hotel as 3.5 stars, but I'll give it 4 because of the great price we got. We'd probably stay here again for another short weekend visit.
