We booked the hotel after getting a last-minute deal on Hotwire Ticker for $115/night. The location is great - in a decent neighborhood - with plenty of shops & restaurants in easy walking distance. Unfortunately, there's a ton of construction (both building & road) going on in that area right now, so access to the hotel & parking is a challenge.
Photos of the hotel make it seem like the front entrance is in clear view, but this isn't the case; poor signage didn't help either, and access to the Radisson's parking garage (down a narrow, partially obstructed alley) is only indicated by a "Warwick Parking" sign painted on the side of the building. The hotel's website implied they had self-service parking available - not so. Be prepared to add $30/night for valet parking (plus tips) to the room price. Also, be prepared to drag your own bags to the front desk; the garage is so crowded, there's no room to navigate a luggage cart. (We packed light, so this didn't affect us...but I could see problems for people with lots of luggage.)
The lobby is gorgeous and the front desk staff was friendly. We ate in the hotel restaurant Tavern17; their food was excellent (although service was a bit slow.) I'd definitely eat there again.
We wound up getting an ADA-accessible hotel room for some reason, which gave us a lot more space. The decor was very modern and very clean - a big plus in my book! However, I wasn't crazy about the sleep number bed: difficult to "program" and just plain uncomfortable. I'd suggest bringing ear plugs to block out extra noise from the corridor too.
The bathroom needed help. The sink was new, but the toilet & bathtub were old, chipped, dingy and stained - kinda gross. The lighting was atrocious: a 2-bulb fluorescent fixture that was so dim, we had to leave the door open to get enough light to take showers! There wasn't even enough light to put my makeup on (I had to use the bedroom mirror/lights.) Very disappointing.
I'd rate this hotel as 3.5 stars, but I'll give it 4 because of the great price we got. We'd probably stay here again for another short weekend visit.
