“Wonderful hotel in the heart of Center City!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Stayed one night with a few friends for a bachelorette party. Wonderful, courteous staff, great experience from when we checked in to when we checked out. The front desk saw that we were a party of four and immediately called housekeeping to bring extra towels and extra complimentary water to our room, before we even reached the elevators. Housekeeping was at our room less than 15 minutes after we got in. The room was very neat and clean with modern decor. That night, one of our friends was snoring so loudly, we had trouble sleeping. The front desk was kind enough to let us sleep in the room next door without any problems. We didn't have a chance to try the restaurant, bar or room service, but the location is perfect - close to a lot of shopping, bars and restaurants. The hotel kept our luggage with their valet station and we walked to Parque for brunch the next morning and did a little shopping before check-out.

Look online for deals to get the best value, but I would stay here again and I would pay regular price!

I reserved this hotel through CHOP's website as I was working there. I did not spend much time at the hotel, becuase my flight was so late, but the little time I was there was very nice. My room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was a bonus that there was complimentary bottled water in the room. The hotel is not withing walking distance to the hospital, but I would definitely stay here again whether for business or pleasure.

Stayed here one night for an event in the city, and had a lovely stay. Requested a late checkout and were easily accommodated. The room was gorgeous, and the bed incredibly comfortable. We were on the 10th floor and didn't hear any street noise, but we did hear the elevators occasionally. On our way out only one elevator was working so we had to wait a little bit, but it wasn't a big deal. My two complaints were the lack of water glasses in the rooms and the Keurig coffee is pretty nasty.

Stayed at The Latham for one night because it was an I Prefer property. Outstanding service from the moment we walked in the door. Check in (lovely young woman Maria?), drinks at the bar ( great bartender) and the location made this a great stop over in Philadelphia for our evening out on the town. Met one of the managers while we were at the bar in the afternoon and he could not have been any nicer and most welcoming. Would stay here again when in Philadelphia for dinner.

Room Tip: Stayed in 1309 , a lovely corner room with fun views of the street and a peek of Rittenhouse square.

I stayed here years ago and received a pleasant surprise when I returned recently. The hotel is newly renovated and greatly improved. The hotel restaurant/bar is convenience and good. They also provide a driver to drop you off at local sites. Very cool. The hotel is convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

I booked this hotel for a special overnight in the city to celebrate my husband's birthday. The location was ideal for walking to our restaurant choice, a jazz club and a bar for a nightcap. A complimentary car and driver took us to and from the Philadelphia Art Museum. The Latham's restaurant provided a delicious breakfast, not to mention great appetizers and drinks the night before. Our room was sleek, tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. I would stay here again.

I stayed at the Latham this past weekend with my dog and boyfriend. They were very dog friendly! They even took us to the liberty bell/old city so that we could walk around and then they picked us up! Roman was great! The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice. It was centrally located next to lots of restaurants and bars and a 5 minute ride to basically any site you want to see. I definitely recommend!
