“Great food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

We stopped here for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a margherita pizza that was fabulous. They also have a great vegetarian selection of foods.

“Love this organic cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

The food is delicious and you can taste the freshness...it is very organic ;) Love their lunch buffet there's a lot of options to choose from. I am not really a soup person but I fell in love with their tomato bisque and New England clam chowder. Staff is very friendly, welcoming and they respond to suggestions if you write one. http://www.thecouchtomato.com

“Quick delivery, delicious pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

Couch Tomato makes a great pizza. Their crust is perfectly thin and crispy and they have a ton of options for toppings. As a vegetarian, I also appreciate that they clearly label the vegetarian/vegan and gluten free menu items. I get my pies delivered whenever I am not in the mood to venture out. Delivery is quick and the drivers are friendly.

“Bistro experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

We were in the upstairs bistro of this restaurant this past weekend. My wife was thinking about a tapas-type experience. Parking in Manayunk can be a challenge on a weekend night. We got flagged into a temporary lot in front of a commercial operation just east of the restaurant on Main Street.........but we found that the restaurant does have complimentary parking -- pull up, call the number on a sidewalk sign and they will do the rest.

Tapas we tried were the MacnCheese with Bacon, Crispy Artichokes, Coconut Shrimp, and the Lump Crab Stack. The Lump Crab Stack was the absolute winner and the Crispy Artichokes were very good. I have had better Macn Cheese tapas - this tapa needs some work on cheese types for some zing. The Coconut Shrimp was slightly overcooked and dry. We also ordered Pinot Noir with the meal. The tapas were between $7 and $13.50. We skipped dessert since we were full.

You may have to climb two flights for the upper parts of the restaurant. I believe it had elevators for the handicapped.

A very good bistro experience. We would try again, probably try their pizza selections next time.
