“Very very interesting...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2015

Im not even sure how to begin..Its an experience.. a sensory overload in fact.. both visually and nose worthy. I made my husband take me before went driving around south philly to look at christmas lights.. he wont go again.. it is high priced $9 and up for hot chocolate..buts its not your even your grandmothers homemade type..its off the charts crazy hotchocolate. and the cannoli.... truly the best I've ever had and I've sampled them all in South Philly..and my Italian Husband agreed. I will certainly go again with my girlfriends. The making of the hot chocolate itself is a performance... the shavings of many types of chocolate and the uruption of the cream when the hot chocolate is added. You must go if you dont mind speding about $20 on hotchocolate and a cannoli or other yummy desserts.

“Funky Coffee House”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2014

This was my second visit to Rim with its eclectic decor, eclectic staff and customers. I liked their cannolis but I do not like their peanut butter hot chocolate. Sorry. It doesn't tast like peanut butter and chocolate.

“FINALLY! Almost indescribable.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2014

I do not care if it is hot outside, or perhaps not the time of year one typically thinks of having hot chocolate. It doesn't matter if the place is small, with a absolutely wonderfully funky interior that screams out I AM A BOHEMIAN CHERUB AND MY CHOCOLATE IS YOUR HOT LOVE ADDICTION! This place, was on the food network for a very good reason. It's NOT a mug of hot chocolate cleverly named the Volcano. Ooooohhhh no no no. It is a culinary dessert, disguised in a mug, awaiting your confused but elated response to it as you try to navigate past the shavings of nuts and chocolate that rest atop the mug, melting into the volcanic eruption of cocoa and home made whipped cream which has bobbed to the top - hence- the volcano. If you think the price is too high, I say, for the love of God if you call yourself a foodie, or a lover of chocolate, then just dig down deep and BUY THIS THING! It's so thick you will want to chew it. It's so good you will swear an oath to return. And the chef, well she is amazing. The creation is enhanced by the service, and the experience of chocolate and love is the real deal. Amen.
