“Holy Cannoli”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

We we're in Reading Terminal and decided to stop for a cannoli here and boy oh boy, we we're not disappointed. Wow, it was like heaven landed on a plate. These we're SO incredibly delicious! Everything in their display case looked beautiful and yummy, but we knew we wanted one of their famous cannoli's. Do yourself a favor and go there, absolutely a must!

“Great Cannoli's and Deserts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

Each time we travel from Virginia to Connecticut we stop at Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. One of the places we are sure to stop is Termini’s Brothers Bakery. Excellent Cannoli’s and Deserts. However there were five women to wait on customers and four of the five were huddled and talking for about five minutes while customers waited. The person waiting on us was delightful and wore gloves and was a real help to the customers. The wait was worth it after we tasted those deserts.

“Holy Cannoli!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

Recently was in Philadelphia and a friend took me to Termini Bakery. How nostalgic! The girl who worked in there was delightful. She wore gloves and carried a tray and put on the tray what you were ordering off of the pastries and goodies in the middle. The chocolate chip cannoli's are to die for. I would definitely stop back in here, if I was in the area. We parked on the street but I saw there is a parking lot. 14 dollars for four cannoli's which were put in a white bakery box with string to tie the box shut...priceless!

“Fabulous cannolis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

I've been craving a Termini's cannoli since leaving Philadelphia 20 years ago so we made sure to stop by during a recent visit to the city. Just as wonderful as we remembered! They hand-fill the shells when you order so they're nice and crispy. And the ricotta filling is to die for!

“Awesome Cheesecake”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Recently visited Philadelphia for the first time and was interested in visiting the Reading Terminal Market. We found it rather overwhelming, as it is a very busy place with a ton of food vendors and surprisingly crowded/busy on a Friday afternoon. After a quick run through, we chose to buy our "treat" at Termini Brothers, as their bakery items looked good.

We endured difficulty getting waited on for the chance to try the cheesecake. Alas, they don't seem to have a number system and the younger women behind the counter seemed to feel comfortable ignoring customers while they spoke with their backs to the counter. An older employee approached the waiting customers and we were successful in placing our order. It may well be that the staff gets rushed off their feet at a busy location like the Reading Terminal Market, but it's never a good practice to plainly "see" the customer and then walk away and then turn your back on the waiting customers while you have a lengthy chat with your co-worker.

The cheesecake did not disappoint. We tried the chocolate marbled variety, which had a pleasantly light chocolate flavor. The "crust" of the cheesecake is whisper thin so it doesn't overpower the cheesecake - perfect. It was firm, dense, creamy cheesecake goodness that was so stellar that I'm almost regretting having sampled it because it will be tough to find it's equal and we live 1.5 hours away! We would have returned for more and to sample their other gorgeous items except we needed to leave before the market opened on Saturday morning.

My rating is based on my overall rating of the Termini Brothers at Reading Terminal Market. The cheesecake rated a 5+++, but the service only a 3, giving them a solid 4.
