Brunch. Period. Wow. Served both Saturday & Sunday...do...not...miss.
I had the boudin with eggs which was fantastic. That said, the highlight of the meal was the "big azz" biscuit they served as my side. It came with the most amazing molasses for dipping which was the perfect combination. There's also a "big azz" biscuit entree which is served with gravy...I see no way how that could be a bad thing.
My wife had the barbecued brisket with sweet potato hash. Unbelievably good. The smokey brisket worked so well with the sweet potato and collard greens that were mixed-in. I might have dreams about this for months. The serving is huge so definitely think about splitting with a sidekick. Lastly, we couldn't ignore the praline bacon....yes...I said it...praline bacon. And yes, its as good as you are imagining.
And to top it off the Khyber has an amazing tap list that rotates on a very consistent basis. They do a great job keeping up with what's kicked and what's new on tap also. Definitely enjoy this spot no matter what the meal. I'm starting not to miss the bands that occupied the Khyber for so long...brisket now holds my heart.
