Arrived and there was no option to check in earlier. They offered the keep luggage as a courtesy. Breakfast in the morning was good. Make your own waffle, etc. (like most BWs). Nice that they have a tea and cookie time in the evening.

** there is no parking available. Only street parking and the option to leave it in a garage about a block away which costs $19.00/24 hours. If you move the car and come back you are charged again for the re-entry. If I knew this I would have used a different hotel. Parking cost me just as much as the hotel stay for one night.

BW has really improved and this BW Plus hotel was a gem. I think everyone did their best to make it great except that we had a transformer interruption so no power for a couple of hours. They provided flashlights, humor, wine and cheese! Will also say the location- downtown Philly- is always great but the parking is high ($20-$50). Yikes!

This is the 2nd time staying at this hotel. I love the location, staff, and price. As others have mentioned the rooms are smaller than standard modern hotels but the rooms are very comfortable and VERY CLEAN. Hotel staff is great, very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast in the morning and coffee / fresh fruit is available all day. The Lobby is very comfortable and inviting, where you can hang out play chess or checkers or login to the computer to catch up on things or print your boarding passes for your flight home. The wifi also worked great in our room, had no issues at all. Attractions - liberty bell, independence hall etc. are just a short walk away. If you are looking for a clean room, friendly staff, in the heart of the city, look no further.

The hotel is located in an old building, so the rooms are small. This and lack of on-site parking (a parking garage is 1.5 blocks away) are the only deficiencies worth mentioning. On the positive side, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good (cold/hot cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, sweets), the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated few blocks away from the historical landmarks.
