Although there was only one other party, who already had their food, it took annoyingly too long for two simple breakfasts to arrive; furthermore our waitress seemed to disappear into the kitchen for long periods of time; so that at one point I had to get up to look for her. Maybe that's the reason there's a help wanted sign in the window.
Still the perfectly scrambled & very spicy Huevos a la Mexicana-w/ onion/tomato/jalapeno-served w/ rice, refried beans & a pile of warm tortillas, were worth the wait. My date ordered Jamon a la Mexicana, a generous serving of razor thin slices of ham w/ the usual suspects & we mixed & matched which proved a tasty combo.
With Saturday & Sunday specials, including seafood, the bilingual menu is extensive; so if you've a yen for good Mexican food & don't mind waiting, while shopping at the nearby Italian (really now more Latino) Market, this is a worthwhile stop.
