really nice old carousel, have fun playing minigolf with all the city symbols, chill out in the park after visiting the National Constitution center.

“Cute Stop in Philly for Families with Kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Mini golf with Philadelphia landmarks was very cute. Nice burger, hotdog & fries walk-up stand. Would have liked to see more umbrellas or shaded areas as the day was a scorcher! Overall nice place to visit.

“Pretty, well-kept square”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

Just past Chinatown, you'll find Franklin Square. I went alone but it would be a great place to take the kids as there's a playground and crazy golf park. It's very well kept and the centre of the square is a very pleasant place to sit and wile away a few hours on a sunny day.

“Making Ben Proud”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

Franklin Square Park was a welcome respite after several museum tours on a hot day. The park is clean and inviting for everyone although it is especially attractive for families. This park offers miniature golf (fee), a carousel (fee) and two playgrounds - one for smaller children and one for older kids. The space has a lot of shady areas and tables, a family bathroom option and a food stand with tasty options at a reasonable price. We had a delicious vegetarian burger, organic lemonade (tangy and not too sweet) and a vanilla custard (very good).

Keep this park on your radar as a great place to relax between other venues.

“Good break for kids, but not a necessary destination”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

Near the Constitution Center and Liberty Bell, the Park has a carousel, mini golf, playground and burger stand. It gives younger kids a break from our reward for sightseeing.
