“Fun and something to do”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

This place was refurbished a few years ago. It has a great park for the kids to play and restrooms. The mini-golf is cute. In the summer, they have story tellers about Philadelphia on the benches. The fountain is nice to view. There are picnic tables throughout the park to have lunch. There is a Steven Starr Burger place there and the burgers look delicious. It is difficult to park in this area. We included the Federal Bank tour in our visit to the park.

“Franklin Square”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Right near the Ben Franklin Bridge excellent city park for kids, with putt putt golf a merry go round, great hot dogs and food for everyone, the only problem was the credit card machine was out and the employees acted like it was our fault, great for kids bad for their business

Lots of attractions for the young but also offers nourishment for the entire family; sits at the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge, be sure to see the Franklin lightning bolt

“Fun filled park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

As previously mentioned Franklin square is a beautiful oasis with numerous photo ops. In terms of activities, they have a carousel and mini-golf. We went mini-golfing on a Monday morning and had the whole course to ourselves. They have 18 mini holes decorated with miniature versions of philadelphia landmarks. A must do for adults and children alike!

“Great park, great mini-golf!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

The kids will love this park. It has a carousel, swings, slides and all the usual park fun, but the best part for us with the mini-golf. It was in great condition and just about every hole revolved around a miniature version of a philadelphia land mark. Made for some really fun photos.
