Went with my daughter and my two friends to grab a bite before a play. We had to wait a bout 15 minutes for a table at about 6:30 - the place was full. And no wonder! The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. The wine list was great and my beer drinking friend was very happy with his choices. I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in Philly and the food here was very well crafted, well conceived and delicious in every bite - and very affordable! The food here offers small plates and imaginative sandwiches, paninis and salads. We had a mushroom fondue flavored with sherry, pesto bruschetta, and a round of paninis and salads. Each panini came with a very fresh and perfectly dressed little pile of salad greens. The wait staff was attentive and offered wonderful advice,as well as great service. The place is warm wood and brick, a bit small and certainly loud at that hour, but we could have a conversation. I will be going back again and again, especially for their very budget friendly happy hours! I'm also looking forward to exploring their cheese plates.
