“Birthplace of the Cheesesteak!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

One of the best cheesesteaks in town...also the most likely birthplace of the Philly Cheeaesteak. Love this place, it's so simple and a total throwback to food service. I has the American 'wit' onions and cheese whiz. Oh ya!!!

“for all the hype, it was disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

The food was average at best. Tony Lukes is much better. Geno's is much better. Way overrated. But I do like their political stands.

“De-lish!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Do it... go get a regular wit Wiz. It's a cheesesteak not a gourmet restaurant, so yes, expect processed cheese. I just wish I could find a good cheesesteak in Denver.

“I like mine better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

We visited Pats the last time we were in Philly. I'd always been told that it was the place to go for the best cheesesteaks. It was meh. We won't be going back the next time we are in the area. Mine taste better anyway.

“DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

This is the worst place ever to get a steak. It's up there with Geno's bad food. Foul processed cheese tops grade "F'' meat. I give it an F because it is just bad. And they are ignorant! Just short of spitting on you. For what you spend here you can get way better and larger and faster steaks at Jim's or Tony Luke's or even at a corner pizza shop. Maybe dig one out of the trash at a bus stop garbage can.
