“No shortage of choices...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

No matter what kind of food you're looking for, you are likely going to find it here. If you go at lunchtime, plan on standing in line. I always like to go where the locals go, and this place seemed to be it. If you're looking for something upscale, you won't find it here, but no matter what you eat, you won't be disappointed.

“A Foodie's Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

Just about every kind of food you may want, including fish, meat and fresh produce markets. Although hard to choose among the variety of restaurants, my favorite is Dutch Corner. With good, well-portioned and inexpensive down to earth food prepared by Amish folks, its really hard to do better if you're in the mood for that fare.

I hadn't been to Philadelphia for a longtime and going back was almost like going home again for a good home-cooked meal.

Located in the the heart of Philadelphia, if you have a room at the Marriott or the Hilton Garden Inn, the Reading Terminal Market is just a short stroll away. Shop, eat there or get a takeout for your hotel room, the RTM is a winner.

“An excellent experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

I visited Reading Terminal Market 3 times during a recent trip. Really busy, hard to find a seat, but well worth the effort. Just about every kind of food available plus shops and fresh markets, breads, meats, and cheese. If you can't find something good to eat, you're probably not at the market! Definately recommend a visit (or two) if you're coming to Philadelphia.

“Great place for food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

A local farmers market in an indoor setting. The market was sizeable and had plenty to taste, smell and experience!

“Reading Terminal Market - old world shopping under 1 roof”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

If you can't find something to buy you're not looking hard enough. Candy, fresh pastries, freash fish, cookies, pies, pickled everything, crafts, fresh produce, and my favorite - coffee! So many choices. Grab breakfast at the Dutch Eating Place, walk out off discovering all the shops and then decide where to have lunch under 1 roof. Definitely a place I would frequent if I lived in Philadelphia.
