Smallish neighborhood restaurant close to the Art Museum with cozy atmosphere and world-class food. Billed as Mex-Cali and Tex Mex the food was the real deal and better than most restaurants we visited in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Starting with the chips and salsa, most restaurants put them out just to keep you happy while you wait. The chips were better than most, the salsa, the best. The appetizer - we tried Crab Empanadas - excellent. The main courses: Lobster enchiladas (Loaded with lobster and not pricey), the scallops in mango (Light and perfectly cooked). The dessert - we had no room, but took home two wonderful desserts. Last: The service was friendly and attentive (always a big plus). Even though we live a hour from Phili, we plan to go back.
