Upon arriving at Bourbon Blue, we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly. Water was brought to our table without hesitation and the server was quick to follow. Our server was knowledgeable and responsive. The appetizers were tasty and served in a reasonable timeframe. We were told the menu changes every 6 months with the exception of certain key items. Our dinner arrived and this is when Bourbon Blue dropped the ball. We had 2 "tasteless" filet mignons with the "blandest" mashed potatoes we have ever had. WHERE'S THE FLAVOR! Not even mass quantities of salt and pepper could resurrect the spuds. In addition, we had the chefs special, a veal stew which lacked both FLAVOR and meat. How can a Zagat rated restaurant get it that WRONG! We will not return or recommend this restaurant.
