Description: Gargantuan cuts of prime beef, extra thick chops, and simply prepared fresh seafood are the straightforward offerings of this steakhouse that evokes the supper clubs of Manhattan in the 1940's. Leopard print carpeting, black lacquered walls trimmed in brass and tuxedoed waiters complete the elegant atmosphere, featuring live piano and bass nightly. Dress code is business casual.

“Go for the prime rib.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

As always prime rib was tender and flavorable. Service was excellent. Two cuts of prime rib available-signature cut and full cut. The full cut is huge! Side dishes: spinach good, asparagus good, Brussel Sprouts overcooked. Potato skins crispy with no potato at all. It's like potato chips.

“Very Good But Very Expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

Check the menu before you book -- you might not want to pay $58 for their signature dish, or some other entrees, especially when you consider that everything is a la carte and the drinks are stiff in price in addition to potency. But, if you can afford it, you'll have a wonderful dining experience. Our waiter was very good, but he was trying to rush us. At these prices, we won't be rushed. So, once you come to terms with the prices and perhaps gently bark at the over-attentive waiter, you won't be disappointed. Wonderful food, wonderful ambience. Probably best held for only special occasions, again, at these prices.

“Best steak i've ever eaten”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

This has to be the best steak restaurant i've ever dined at - i had the prime rib which was the biggest cut of dteak i've ever seen. At first glance it looked like it was going to be difficult to cut, however it cut like a hot knife through butter - perfect steak!

Elegant surroundings and great service!

“Elegant, classy, delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

This place has the look and feel of a 1940s steak house. Classy furnishings, subdued lighting, wonderfully comfortable chairs. Long, beautiful bar with live music (soft jazz at my visit, piano and bass, excellent). Not surprisingly, they know how to make perfect, bone-chilling cold martinis. As you'd expect in such a venue, service is outstanding. This is a meat-eaters place, of course, though the menu also featured salmon and crab cakes. I'm a seafood lover, but here I went straight for a New York strip steak, perfectly prepared to my order, medium-rare. I was with a large party, so many different entrees were ordered and no one had any complaint. In fact, we left raving about the place. It's quite expensive, but of course we knew that going in. Great choice for a special night out.

“Classy and yummy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Very beautifully decorated. Attentive waitstaff. Nice selection of beers and martinis in addition to their large wine lists.

The mushroom caps stuffed with escargots blew our mind as did the hearts of palm salad with their homemade italian dressing. the oysters on the half shell were up to snuff but nothing special. The bread with seasoned butter was a nice addition to the table. Sadly the french onion soup was forgotten but thats ok we probably didnt need it!

My husband chose the peppercorn crusted steak it was absolutely amazing and I had major food envy as I chose the dover sole special which was a nice fish but underwhelming. We enjoyed the grilled artichokes and their signature potato skins with horseradish sauce. The creamed spinach was just OK. Everything is A La Carte so if you are a big eater as we are be prepared to pay... The creme bruelle was great and even had a candle for my birthday and was comped!
