I ate at the Cherry St location on a recent Sunday afternoon. I dined on the outside patio which is shaded by lots of trees. I was impressed by the decor, bar and seating inside because the place doesn't look like much from the outside. Since I was in a slight hurry, I ordered appetizers which were very average. I think if I had ordered an entree, my dining experience would have been better. My stellar frozen mango margarita made up for the average food. My gazpacho could have easily been salsa pureed in a blender. The bacon wrapped shrimp were large and filling, but you could tell they were pre-made and frozen. Given the amount of people at the place, I would give the restaurant a second try sometime.

Everything about this restaurant is excellent - food, margaritas, service. The prices are also very reasonable. I go to The Post often and have never been disappointed. I have gone to other Mexican restaurants and wished I was at The Post instead.

It's a small place near Penn's Landing at Front Street and Chestnut. We had a short wait. They pride themselves on their margaritas, which are excellent. They offer 8 different fruit flavors, but the original (with the right Tequila) is fantastic in a small pitcher for two people. Salsa was fantastic, chips were below average (not homemade). I had a combination plate which was fantastic. Tostada came in a small tortilla bowl. I ordered with chicken, which was very tasty. I also had a pork enchilada, which was scrumptous. My son had a quesadilla, which was huge. The manager came buy and loves to see children happy and bought my son dessert. It was a great experience with above average service and reasonable prices.
