“Philadelphia Italian Worth a Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Visited the Philadelphia Ristorante Pesto on South Broad Street from a recommendation of friends. Beautiful decor, gracious owner hostess, husband and daughter trained chefs. Everything home made in-house. Unique appetizers. Well prepared delicious entees. Best home made gelato. Will need reservations on the weekend. A best bet for dining in the City of Brotherly Love.

“OMG!!!Please try this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

This place was recommended to me. We tried it out and can say it was one of the best Italian meals I have ever had! The prices are so reasonable that we decided to try a few things! We had the eggplant rollintini, bruschetta, lobster pasta and the chicken parmagiana. What I enjoyed most was their special rose cause. I enjoyed it better than regular tomato sauces used. This place is a quick cab ride from Center City, 1915 Broad St. is the address. They have a full bar but allow you to bring your own wine! The service and the food are just terrific.

The food is great and the service was very good! Our waiter was very accommodating to special requests and the food came out perfect. We loved the ambiance! It was recommended by a local and it sure did not disappoint.

“Wear earplugs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

While the food here was very good (but just typical of the South Philadelphia Italian food
scene) and the value was good, the noise level was unacceptable. We were here on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was populated with groups of friends. If I had been here with one other person I would have walked out. Even as a place to meet with friends, one end of the table couldn't hear a word someone at the other end of the table had to say. If I were to return here it would have to be when they just open.
