They've got a sushi-go-round. That's cool. But there's absolutely nothing else good about this place.
Food was mediocre. The drinks were strong (for a restaurant), but not very good. Service was somewhere around average to sub-par. Atmosphere was OK - fun and eclectic, but poorly executed (you'll get an interesting seat that's uncomfortable and awkward). For a relatively expensive dinner, I demand a lot better.
I had four things from the menu and two drinks. Average to sub-par for all of it. The sushi conveyor was neat, but there were only about 5 things that came by and none of them looked very good. Service was OK - except that they hit the back of my chair ever 3 minutes (the staff - not the customers), which was incredibly annoying. The bathrooms were tiny and disgusting.
Want good sushi? Hop on the train and ride in to CC. There are a dozen places in town that are better (and far cheaper - even with a SEPTA token) than Pod. Don't bother with this place.
