“Figs has fine Moroccan- inspired cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012 via mobile

Whenever we go to the art museum in the late afternoon, we walk over to Figs for dinner, one of our favorite Philly restaurants. Having eaten there many times, we are never disappointed. The Middle-Eastern, Moroccan- inspired dishes are delicious, whether one is having lamb, or seafood. Appetizers and desserts are a fine complement to the entrees. Since this is a cash-only BYOB, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the cuisine. The service is pleasant and attentive. One caveat- the restaurant is small, so make a reservation.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

I have been looking forward to going to this restaurant for a while. The food was pretty good, but the waiter would have made a better mortition. He had no business being around people. Also, FYI. They only take cash. I'm over that place. Too many other good restaurants in that area.

“Delicious Middle Eastern fare in Museum district”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

We enjoyed one of the best meals we have ever had in Philadelphia. This intimate restaurant offers a varied menu of perfectly prepared and unusual dishes. Both meat and seafood dishes were exceptional, as was the beet and goat cheese salad we passed around. Bring cash, as they do not accept credit cards, and they are happy to serve the wine you bring, as there is no bar.

“Great little place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012

Have eaten there twice after visits to museum. Last time there were six of us, all with something different. Everyoen loved their food and the fig ice cream is great. Owner and staff could not have been more pleasant. Will go again.

“Small treasure in the museum district”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012

Really nice little treasure of a place with a Mediterranean menu with Moroccan influences. In the museum district a short walk from the Philadelphia Art Museum, away from the tourists and crowds. Fresh seafood, perfectly cooked, inventive menu with reasonable prices. BYOB if you wish.Home made ice cream was delicious, especially the fig flavor.
