We booked this hotel on "name-your-own price" Priceline, and let's just say it was well worth doing it that way, as it was well less than $100/night for two rooms on the weekend. So my review may be somewhat biased on the basis of Price/value The hotel is right in the heart of Old City, directly across the street from the Liberty Bell, so sight-seeing, restaurants, shopping are all within easy walking distance, which is good, because parking in their lot is expensive($40, night valet parking.) We unloaded and used the underground lot one block up at the Independence Center (muni parking) which was only $18./night.
This chain of hotels seems to go out of their way in the friendliness and service department, so we have no complaints there, and the rooms are very clean and stylishly decorated. While a little on the small side, they certainly were large enough for our needs with a king-sized bed. Each has a safe and mini-frig., and while there was no coffee pot, as one writer previously mentioned, it only took a phone call and they hustled a Kuerig up within minutes. One of the few issues we had was with their shower unit, which although very large, it has a only a partial glass enclosure, with water easily spraying out to the rest of the bathroom. I guess this makes for less shower curtain issues, but they need bigger bathmats! The exercise room on the 2nd floor was also quite adequate. Be aware, this is a dog-friendly hotel. I never heard one bark the whole time we were there, but we like dogs.
The Red Owl Restaurant was very nice for drinks and Hors d'oeuvres, especially with the $10, drink discount that came with the room. I would definitely come back, even at a higher price!
No bad rooms, but the rooms overlooking the Liberty bell are the best view.

Wow! Great deal on the rooms. It seems you made the most of the booking by hitting most of the hotel's amenities, although you'll have to make sure you hit Stratus up next time you're in town. Hopefully that's soon!
