“Highlight of our trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Thank you TripAdvisor for helping us find this neighborhood gem. It was the highlight of our trip to Philadelphia. It is such a charming place and the food is, without a doubt, the best Italian food we have ever had. We had the tuna carpaccio, which was fresh and amazing. My husband had the gnocci gorgonzola and I had the spaghetti scoglio. Both were delicious. I have never tasted such light and fluffy gnocci. The seafood in my spaghetti scoglio was plentiful and tender and the broth was perfect. Dessert was tiramisu and lemon sorbet, which was a standout with its presentation inside of a hollowed-out lemon. The chef found my husband on his way back from the restroom to ask if we were enjoying our food. Yes, oh, yes! The service was also outstanding. We will be back!

“WONDERFUL!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

With so many restaurants in Philly, we relied once again on TripAdvisor to point us in a direction when we were meeting some friends for dinner who were in from overseas recently. As usual, the ratings of Fiorino as a great place to eat were spot on. This is one of those restaurants that you would probably drive by without more than a second glance. It's a quaint place with a small dining room, maybe 20 tables and parking is not easy, but so worth it. Brushetta was complimentary and arrived first- very tasty. We all ordered salads-I had the caprese and it was perfection. Creamy, sliced mozzarella with just a hint of salt and tomatoes that were perfectly ripe and deep red in color- I would go back just for this! The other three in our party had the caesar salad and said it was very good. For the first time ever, we all ordered the same entree- it was a house special, Bronzini, which is a Mediterranean sea bass. Perfectly cooked with pieces of lump crab meat on top. None of us left even a scrap on our plates, it was that good. We also ordered a side of their bolognese with fettuccine which was delicious also. No desserts as we were full, but we did order cappuccinos and they were great. We will definitely be back.

“Great neighborhood place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

It is well deserving of it's #3 rating and I am glad it is in my neighborhood! From start to finish, with their bread, meal, and dessert, it is hard to beat this place!

“Outstanding!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

If your not from the area this place may be hard to locate, but, go regardless. Indian Queen Lane is a one way street heading towards the Schukyll River. The food was authentic home made Italian and the establishment is set up just as any small trattoria would be meaning that you may be sitting very close to other guests. If that's not your thing, don't go and also don't ever go to Italy. The Pasta was fresh and the Veal Marsala was quite a treat. We will definitely return next time were in Philadelphia. Finish up the evening with a quick drive up to the Kelly Mansion, where Grace Kelly was raised, which is just about 1/2 a mile away at 3901 Henry Ave.
