“Romantic, unique and fab location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

My husband and i booked this hotel for new years day. It is so lovely and unique. Its not a cookie cutter hotel. It has so much character. Our room had a fireplace, softest bed and pillows, large screen tv, awesome shower and it was quiet. It was beautifully decorated as well. Hotel is also in great location. We parked our car in a garage and walked everywhere: new years day parade, mutter museum, shops and more.

I had been traveling with friends who had returned home. I stayed at the Rittenhouse 1715 for two nights. The staff was most gracious and helpful (esp. when I came down with a fever and nasty cold late in the second day).

They gave me excellent tips re things to see and do and as a lady traveling alone I felt safe in the city. My room was very clean and most comfortable; lush linens and towels, and pretty dishes for room service.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - from the first phone call when I made my reservations to the minute I left and the front desk clerk carried my luggage to the cab. Just perfect!

Room Tip: My room overlooked the street; slightly to the left of the front door. It was quiet, VERY well appoi...

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a night at the Rittenhouse 1715. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed with luxurious linens and towels, delicious coffee and breakfast. This will be our first choice when in Philadelphia in the future!

My daughter and I stayed at the Rittenhouse 1715 for two nights while she was moving to Philadelphia. Our room was very quiet and comfortable and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast in the cozy breakfast room felt very French. The location was great - on a quiet street just around the corner from excellent restaurants. We were fortunate to obtain the room at a very reasonable rate through a last minute reservation app. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family

We stayed at the Rittenhouse 1715 for 3 days. This is not a large hotel and therefore misses out on some stuff like ver night room service. But if you like your hotels to feel like living in your own luxurious home, then this is the hotel for you in Philly.

We stayed in the Presidential suite, which was a split level room that was not that much more than a normal room. A well worthwile decision as having all of that extra space is always welcome.

The staff are really eager to assist with whatever you want and always seem to be able to anticipate your needs.

Dear Richard M,

Thank you for your kind words! We are glad that we were able to anticipate your needs and that you consider us as a home in Philadelphia. I wish we would have known that you would have liked something to eat overnight! While we do not have room service, as we are such a small property, we would have been more than willing to assist you in ordering food for delivery to the hotel.

We very much appreciate that you found our Presidential Suite to be a worthwhile decision for your needs. It was a pleasure to meet you and we hope to see you again the next time you're in Philadelphia!

Kind Regards,
Renee

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in April just prior to leaving for Ireland. I usually stay with family but this was a most delightful gift. Very friendly staff. Quiet little side street but close to so many things to do and great restaurants. Super comfortable would definitely recommend.

I was so impressed with this Hotel. Nested on a side street just around the corner from Rittenhouse Square, this boutique hotel had such a homey feel. Our Junior Suite was roomy, the King bed was so comfortable and the faux fire place really added to the atmosphere. The continental breakfast on the bottom floor reminded me of my hotel breakfast in Paris...just enough assortment of cheeses, hard boiled eggs and breads... The area is a perfect job off spot to see all the Philly Sites and eat the food...we will definite be back.

Dear NJASH,

We are so glad to hear that you felt at home with us! It is so important that our guests feel that their rooms are comfortable, so it is excellent to hear that you found yours to be so. We did have a slightly different continental breakfast than usual on New Year's Day, including the cheeses and hard-boiled eggs that you mentioned, because we did not have a breakfast chef on site that day. Perhaps on your return, you will be able to enjoy one of our fresh-squeezed juices or made-to-order omelets! Thank you so much for considering us your go-to Philly hotel, and we can't wait to see you again!

Kind Regards,
Renee
