“Old-Fashioned Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Tucked away near the University of Pennsylvania in the City of Brotherly Love, The Inn at Penn offers charming, intimate accommodation for travelers. Frankly, this is the smallest Hilton Hotels property I've encountered, making for a bed-and-breakfast feel. At the same time, The Inn boasts all the amenities and convenience of modern-day lodging. The crowning touch for me was the free iPad that was provided along with Wi Fi.

Hotel is well maintained with cleanliness and friendliness at the top of the list. Service was top notched. My only drawback was the valet parking. We found our car parked on the street behind the hotel. For the price we paid, we expected our car to be garaged. The valet price is very over priced. Nonetheless, the staff was courteous and helpful.

they did a beatiful job with the remodel of this hotel and staff was great but the fees hilton are chargining are getting ridiculous. $34 for parking when your paying $300 a night for room and $5 delivery charge for room service along with an automatic %18 service charge. ordered ice cream cookies and a glass of milk $30 +. I'm not cheap and don't mind paying top dollar for good service or food but the fees are getting obscene .

Stayed here for business in June and it's a great hotel especially if you're going to Penn's campus. I was walking distance to a number of good restaurants, two Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, CVS, and other stores. The staff was very professional and the room was really nice and quiet.

This property exceeded all of my expectations from ease of reservation, to arrival, to the actual stay....top notch facility. I didn't have time to try all of the hotel's amenities since I was there for just 1 night so that is my only regret (other than no pool on site) but otherwise, this hotel is fantastic. The Guest Service Agent who checked me in was thorough and genuine; the room was spotless, the breakfast experience was great, and departure was smooth. I can't have enough good things to say about this hotel and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great property in Philadelphia.

I want to start off by saying this is a pretty good hotel in a city. I have stayed at many Hiltons and this one was very high quality at a good price. Overall great quality for the money but there was just one issue I saw. The stay wasn't really nice. My friend and I would ask a few questions and compared to other hotels, they weren't as nice as they should have been. Nonetheless, I would still choose this hotel compared to others just do to the amenities, the rooms, and location!

This was probably the most luxurious hotel I have stayed in. Everything was great: the facilities, the staff, the location, etc.

We stayed one night while visiting Philly - this hotel was the perfect location for us - a quick cab ride to old town Philly and many local attractions.

The hotel itself was well-maintained, clean, and by far the most eco-friendly hotel I've stayed in. The room offered recycle bins and had eco-friendly features, such as a power-down feature that stopped all electronics while you were out of the room. The only downside was it took a few minutes for the air conditioning to re-cool the room upon returning. This was also the first place I've stayed with a free in-room ipad featuring local attractions and a restaurant guide.

The staff was excellent: the door man was prompt in always getting us a cab, and agreed to hold our luggage for us after we checked out so we could see more of the city before catching our train.
