Booked on Orbitz for roughly $100/night for 2 nights. Location is fantastic. About a 15-20 minute walk down Chestnut to the Historic District. Surrounded by great places to eat or within reasonable walking distance. Customer service was more than adequate and concierge was knowledgable. Fitness center was available and equipped with a few pieces of True (brand) Cardio equipment to work off cheesesteaks. Rooms were plenty big enough for the two of us, clean and nicley decorated. All-in-all a very good experience.

This hotel has great location and is in a very safe area. Each floor has cold-water dispensers with water bottles for you to fill... how cool! It can be a bit noisy at night since it's on a busy street, but it's not too bad.

My husband and I stayed here 4th of July weekend with no complaints. I read where people complained about the parking-which was $56 from 5pm Fri to noon on Sunday. It is NOT a far walk. Literally not even a block down and we also did not have a small room. Staff was nice, they had purified water on our floor with recyclable water bottles which came in handy for our walking. We walked to everything so we did not utilize any of the public transportation. Our hotel was $94/night plus taxes and we used Hotwire. For people who complain about not having certain ammentities, need to go stay in a 5 star hotel. For the price, we thought the hotel was great! They have free Wifi and other expensive hotels we stayed at during this trip wanted you to pay.

We ate at Continental Restaurant a few blocks down though I felt underdressed with tennies and a baseball hat on! Great food. We did NOT stand in the long lines at Geno's or Pats or even Jims Steaks. We got cheesesteaks to go at Tony Jr's which was around the corner.

Great town to walk around in, though there are homeless people asking for change. Fireworks were great. Ran the Rocky stairs, got a crepe at the Reading Terminal Market which was really good! We are not museum people, so we skipped all those.

Stayed here for one night over July 4th weekend. Hotel is centrally located to everything historical and to all the 4th of July activities and the regional rail line & subway if you need it.
The hotel itself was very clean, the staff was very accomadating, rooms were clean - seemed to be smaller than most but they have very tall ceilings and are longer more then square like most hotel rooms but is fine for 2 people for a night or two especially if you are just going to sleep there, beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel provides free filtered water and bottles on each floor, free coffee in the lobby. In the room there are pod coffee makers, flat screen TV that pulls out from the wall, hair dryer and free wi-fi. Bathroom is small with a shower stall but that's all we need for quick trip anyway. They do give you some supplies, soap, mouthwash, shampoo & lotion. If you do want additional supplies they are located on designated floors in a closet for your convenience or you can get them in the lobby. If you want ice or vending machines they are on the 12th floor (so is the fitness center). Ice buckets are provided on the 12th floor as well. The lobby is on the 2nd floor and not when you first walk in. You have to take an elevator to the lobby from the street. This is most likely a security feature. Also after a certain hour you have to swipe your room key to gain access from the street as well. Nothing wrong with that. Keeps the riff-raff out and only paying guests in. A little different experience than other hotel but overall our stay was very enjoyable and I would stay here again.

This hotel is okay, there's not much wrong with it except for the room. Ours was so small you couldn't have more than one door open at any one time, so if one person was getting something from the closet, the other couldn't get in the room or leave the bathroom! It was just terrible. The decor was quite tired, esspecially the bathroom (again, extremely small) and there were some worrying stains on the wall in front of the beds too - I'll leave it to you to work out what they were... Speaking of the beds, we had a twin room, which was not to US standards as I understand them. You got two cheap single beds, the kind you'd get in a grotty B&B in the UK. I was not impressed. What I did like was the free Wi-Fi in the room, the free coffee and cookies in the lobby, and of course the location. I felt overall it wasn't really up to much and I couldn't recommend it really.
