Tickets are obtained from the Independence Visitor Center and tours depart every hour. Admission was ~$16 for an adult. My guide was very friendly and knew his historical facts very well. He even threw in some interesting English/Spanish history lessons to cater to those that were visiting from across the pond. Since I was visiting Philadelphia only for a weekend, I didn't know where I exactly to focus my time, especially with multiple sites and their associated admission fees. The tour does not take you into any of the buildings, but the overview provided me with a good idea of each of the sites, and allowed me to focus my time afterwards on visiting specific areas.
Some of the sites included Franklin Court, National Constitutional Center, US Mint, Betsy Ross House, Christ Churge, Elfreth's Alley, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell.
