“Great hotel in a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Perfect location for the convention center and the Reading Terminal Market. Also convenient to China town and to the liberty bell and Independence Hall. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Breakfast is not included, but food from the restaurant via room was good and reasonably priced for a big city.

Not the cheapest hotel but it was clean, staff was great, breakfast was great, bar staff very nice. Room was a nice size with a king bed, nice size bathroom with large shower.
The hotel is very hard to find when you are driving by in a car, we didn't see any sign low enough on the building when you are sitting low in a car. After driving by for the 5th time, we did see a flag for the hotel parking lot standing on the sidewalk. If you approach on 12th street it will be on the corner of 12th and Race Streets on your right, pull up along side of the building. The only thing I didn't like was the valet parking was 2-3 blocks away. So anytime you need something from your car you have to ask them to get it and the wait can be 20-45 minutes, depending on how busy they are. I know parking is hard to find in Philly, just like any large city, so we didn't make a fuss.
Beds are very hard which my husband loved, but I did not. We didn't use the gym
We stayed here during the Philadelphia Flower show, its a great location and one block walk under cover to the entrance of the flower show.

Enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. After reading previous reviews, we opted to leave our vehicle in the parking lot which is directly across N 12th St (which is where the hotel entrance is). It was pricey, but at least we knew where it was and could see it from our hotel window. The hotel lobby was clean, modern and pleasant. We were given a room on the 7th floor which said Starwood, not exactly sure why. Very, very pleased with the room. Everything you need is there, modern & clean. Loved the hardwood floor entry and all white bathroom-I also liked the "porthole" in the bath door-cool touch. Bed was clean and comfy, the room size was fine, don't know why others are complaining it was small. We also did not experience any problems with the heat as alot of people here have complained about. Free coffee and tea on main floor right off the elevators in the morning. Easy quick walk to convention center and Reading Terminal Market where you can really stuff your face. Would definitely stay here again.

I wound up getting a room here through Hotwire and was very pleased with what I got for the price I paid. My stay was just one overnight on a pleasure trip. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and courteous, and the room was modern and clean. I didn't use the valet service; I found a free street parking spot a few blocks away (had to move the car by 8am!). I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel.

This is another secret I hate to give away. This hotel is clean and fairly modern. It's conveniently located to Chinatown and the Market, as well as the Convention Center. Valet parking is $20/day with in and out privileges. The staff is very helpful and polite. Only drawback was slow valet service, but we were on property during one of the busiest weeks of the year. Would glady return to this hotel.

Four Points was a nice stay, perfect location in the center, staff very helpful. Rooms were clean, but not very spacious, everything worked well. Valet parking was quite costly though, better to park it public...

Thank you for sharing your experience at our hotel with others. The valet service is 3rd party managed, however I must point out that they do offer great discounts to our guests $24 per night inclusive of tax, the average rate to park in the center city area is about $35 for a 24 hour period.

This hotel is great for the price. Very comfortable, decent rooms and quiet. The staff is the best that Philadelphia has to offer. I have stayed in many Philly hotels, and this is the best as far as the staff. Parking was reasonable for downtown Philly. Close to the Reading Market and subways. Overall, I give it a B+

Room Tip: I stayed on the 9th floor and it was very quiet.
