I have waited years to go to the Mutter. My husband and I finally got the opportunity to go. Upon entering we were engaged by a very smiling ticket sales person. Honestly its a 40 minute tour at best, She took 20 minutes to tells us all the museums rules..uug The tickets cost $15.pricey for such a small place, I do know why it cost so much, I have never seen so many employees for a 2 story tiny museum..3 of the women in the upstairs room, sitting around chewing gum, texting, and one of them starts screaming to the crowd, No cells phones or pictures in the place,,then turns back to her cohorts and starts texting and laughing..very unprofessional. The place takes about 40 minutes and be prepared to crawl on the floor to see some of the exhibits, People tend to push and shove because it is so compact and the exhibits signs are old, faded and in very small print, They try to make the place seem bigger by adding some pictures at the end that were already viewed, This is a cool cabinet of curiosity's.I would like to see updates to exhibits, instead of the area of redundancy maybe the museum curators could move some of the oddities that are on floor level to new cabinets at viewing level.
