It is $8, cash only, just to let you know! If you have an old school camera, like myself, be sure to bring about 3 or 4 rolls for this sight! Very nice..

The Masonic Temple really wasn't on the top of our list...but it should have been. Regardless of one's opinions of secret societies, this place is spectacular...spectacularly weird. (Makes you wonder how weird Geo.
Washington, a Mason, was.)There were only two visitors other than our family on our tour. An earlier tour that day apparently had 21 people.
Our tour guide, John, a Mason himself, had a great, dry sense of humor about the place. Reminded me of John Cleese. The $3 "suggested" donation was more than fair and helps pay for the $1 million annual maintenance cost of the place, the money especially needed in light of dwindling, aging membership.

Driving home, we agreed that the most memorable part of our 4 day Philly visit was the Masonic Temple.
