“Very close to all the sites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Stayed here one night prior to moving on to Dover. We had stayed previously at another hotel. This hotel is very very very close to all the Philadelphia sites. Beds are super comfortable and rooms very spacious. Would stay there again in a heartbeat

A smaller omni but nice staff . The room was good . The location is very good , right in front of Independence park area ,really surrounded by history ! There is a metro rail nearby in walking distance .Had a conference in convention centre which was bit far but excellent communication .

Room Tip: Try for rooms on higher floor for better view.

Spent the night there for a wedding being held in the area and it was very nice. We had a room on the third floor with a pretty view of the park. In the future I would request a room on a higher floor to avoid hearing the people returning from the local bars, clearly something out of the hotel's control.

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding. It is a beautiful hotel, but we had a small room and our view was of the brick building next door. Kind of disappointing, but not that big of a deal. One thing I did not like was that the water pressure in the shower was lack luster. But the staff was nice, its in walking distance of everything, very clean, and nice.

Do Not book A room with a 12 after the floor number ie 212 or you will have a room with a view of brick walls. The room itself was fine. It was large enough for a king bed and it was comfortable.
The bathroom was good sized and had a magnifying make up mirror and a full length mirror. The odd thing about this was you could see yourself full length when seated on the commode. There were Q tips, cotton balls and a sewing kit tucked away in a covered container. The two club chairs in the room were very soft and uncomfortable. TV was good sized flat screen with HBO. Lighting, as always in hotels was dim, except in the bathroom. The Hotel itself is very convenient.

Service was good at the front desk. However, there was no turndown service and no chocolates on the pillow.

Room Tip: Rooms with a 12 after the floor number all have views of brick walls. Valet parking is$ 37. per da...

This is actually a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and genuinely welcoming. The service at the restaurants is excellent. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was expansive. There were many 5-star qualities.
The minor (!!) downgrades are: (1) there were no decent pillows in the room (all too soft and non-supporting); (2) the shower head trickled water like a rainfall rather than having s stream; and (3) there were no 'do not disturb' mechanisms for the rooms. As a result of the latter, turn down service almost became a show for the staff as I exited the shower. Fortunately, there is the internal lock (everyone should use this every time they are in their rooms!)

Room Tip: Avoid looking onto the tourist sites -- there's noise pretty constantly (not troublesome, but pre...

Great ambience in this hotel and the location is perfect. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. If we return to Philadelphia again we'll stay in the same hotel. The staff was very nice. We arrived early and it worked out that we were able to check in early. We had a parkview room.
