this hotel is wonderful! i stayed here for a wedding and the wedding was just an hour away. everyone was staying here fromt he wedding. we had a nonsmoking 30th floor room and the views were amazing! the rooms were conecting to three other rooms becuse it was alot of family. my great aunt had a heart attack here in the middle of the night though and the staff was very freindly and helpful in dealing with that . the room was a little on the small side but it was very clean and well worth the money. its right by the hard rock cafe and right in the middle of philly. but the only complaint is that it is a little hard to find especially in such a large city. overall this hotel was great!

My family (including our golden retriever) just spent 3 days at the Loews in Philadelphia. It is a pet- and kid-friendly hotel, in a central location. We had a corner room with 2 double beds, which was perfect for 2 adults, a kid, and a dog. Everything seemed clean, but I did not like the flat, old-feeling pillows. The hotel also has a distinct scent, almost like a perfume? Service is attentive and very friendly. We valet parked our car for the entire weekend and walked (or took public transportation) to several sights. The hotel is a short walk to Reading Terminal Market and the LOVE Park; Macy's and City Hall are a couple of blocks away. One problem I had was finding a place for my dog to do his "business," because it's definitely a concrete jungle there!

We really liked the Lowes Philadelphia Hotel. Super easy check in, valet parking and great walkable location to everything. We booked a luxury king corner room. What a great room with a view of City Hall. All the windows made this a really bright and luxurious room. The bed, linens, bathroom amenities, and flat screen tv made this a very comfortable and yes luxurious room. There is a coffee maker, mini fridge, nice bathrobes. We got a fantastic rate right on the hotel website, making my pleasure with the room even greater.

We were traveling with another couple, so we were concerned about them being happy with our choice, and they were not disappointed. Reading Market is right there. We walked down to take a carriage ride in Society Hill, Olde Town. We walked to Rittenhouse Square, and JFK Love Plaza. There are so many restaurants and bars around.

We only stayed one night, so we did not use many of the hotels amenities. We hope to stay longer next time. We would choose this hotel again on a future visit.

My husband and I spent a week at the Lowes Philadelphia Hotel recently. The location was perfect for us, and for anyone planning on doing a lot of walking around, sightseeing. It's about halfway between the Independence Hall/Liberty Bell area and the museum area, and a short walk from the Rittenhouse Square shopping area. There are many great restaurants nearby, and all of the holiday events are within a few blocks (the Christmas market, the train display at Reading Terminal Market, the Comcast and Macy's light shows, etc). It was just a great, great location.

We also loved the staff at the Lowes Philadelphia Hotel. Everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The amenities were nice -- it has probably the largest hotel gym that I've ever seen. Lap pool is small (just two lanes) but was usually free when we were there. Everything was clean, bed was comfy...what more could we ask for?
