“One of a kind”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

A trip to Philadelphia (or NJ, or Delaware...) has to include a stop here. Any place that has thrived for over 100 years is obviously doing something right. Prepare yourself to be overwhelmed; RTM is an entire city block of hundreds of food vendors. flowers, handmade crafts and soaps, but mainly food vendors. Anything and everything your heart, I mean stomach desires can be found here. Homemade ice cream, Philly pretzels, the best hand carved roast pork sandwich in the USA, seafood, crepes, meats, BBQ, candy, baked goods, Chinese, Asian (are you hungry yet??), soups, salads, cheesesteaks, you name it, it's here. Everything is fresh. The place gets crowded, but food establishments with no customers scare me anyway. Do yourself a favor, go hungry, go early, but go!!!

“Very nice market to visit, but choose your food carefully”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

Went three times, the first time I was stuck with Philly steak, not a good choice, nothing in particular, just not great. Second and third time I tried the Amish Food stand at the North side of the market, on the right as you enter from Arch street. Their chilly was good, the chicken pot pie not so good.

“Endless Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

In Philly, make this a stop for food, both pick up at many stands or Molly Malloy's restaurant within the market. Any kind of food. Go hungry! Found best cupcakes ever at Flying Monkey.
You'll want a bag for shopping for things to take home. Many choices of Italian, Asian, American, Philly!!! too much to mention. Amish have their usual yummy choices. Just go and plan to be there awhile, but if just on lunch hour - doable.

“Holy food selections!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

This market is absolutely wonderful to visit. Especially if you have family or friends that have different tastes in food! This is a must. This market is comprised of probably 50 or more places to get food and all of the food is amazing. Definately recommend getting a little from several places then find a seat in the middle and dig in!!! You will not be disappointed.....finish it up with some fabulous ice cream

“Wish I had such a market in my village !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Reading Terminal Market is a very cosy place to shop, eat, watch, taste and discover. Asian food, american cheese, fish, meat, Amish farmers,.... you name it.
The atmosphere is very lively. I would go there several times a week if this were in my town.
An absolute must when in Philly
