I stayed for two nights in the Quarter Deck suite - I loved the overall ambiance, and the breakfast was delicious with portion sizes that were perfect for me. Downtown is within walking distance, and what is even better is that you get to walk back up the hill after dinner so you burn off a few calories!

We enjoyed our family trip. The inn keepers are very detailed, warm, and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and lots of nice treats. The rooms were very comfortable. The location is a short walk from the center of town.

Room Tip: We fit 2 adults and a child (on a roll away double bed) very comfortably in their biggest room.

This was our first time staying on and exploring whidbey island. We found the clue goose via google search for B&Bs on whidbey. We are so happy we booked! The houses are very well kept and centrally located. We stayed in the newly remodeled Garden suite which was perfect!! We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at this authentic B&B.
From the initial friendly owners greeting us, to the farewell.
Incredibly nice people who you can tell love their job. The complimentary cookies were delicious, and I'm sure baked on site.
Rooms clean, comfortable and spacious.
DO NOT SKIP THE BREAKFAST !!!
Wow was our waffle ever delicious, as was the local coffee, In fact we bought some later that day for home.
There may be a couple things to mention as negatives but they really can't be helped by the owners.
As for one that can (but would take away from the authenticity) perhaps the in tub shower plumbing could be updated.
That's it and that's all I have to complain about.
Everything else was absolutely awesome.
We would definitely look first at booking there again if we were to revisit.

Room Tip: The bell tower room is appropriately named. There's a church across the street. However the room...

Blue Goose Inn was the focal point of our 3 night vacation on Whidbey Island, and I have nothing but good words to describe our experience. It started with booking rooms over the phone - Becky was prompt, precise and very efficient in explaining and completing the reservation process. Upon arrival, we were met by Dave and Becky with warm welcome, and were led to the Victrorian house rooms (we had 2 rooms - us and the 2 boys) - at Captain's Suite and Chart Room, both upstairs in the blue house. They were very neatly made out, with comfortable beds, ceiling fan, ample lighting and good bathroom facility. In-room Wifi works very well. The breakfasts were super nice - everything homemade fresh and very tasty. The owners fed us with helpful information about what to do on the island, where to go etc. Downstairs has a den - it was decorated with period pieces, and has a chess table that our boys found fun (played chess for 2 nights). Coupeville town itself has many interesting small shops and restaurants. Langley downtown area is very nice too. We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Goose Inn and will remember it for a long time.

Dave and Becky could not be more gracious hosts. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived at the Blue Goose. We stayed in the Mt. Baker suite and wish we could have brought the bed home with us. It was so comfortable. We enjoyed two delicious breakfasts that featured local fruits that were bursting with flavor.(I'm really missing that this morning). The location is ideal for exploring Whidbey Island. A friend had suggested that we stay in Langley, but after seeing Coupeville and Langley, there is no doubt we made the right decision. The gardens in the town make walking around a real pleasure. A hint - keep your room key in a secure pocket. We somehow dropped one on one of the paths at Deception Pass. Thank goodness someone found it and called Becky and Dave. This was a great place to spend a wedding anniversary!

Room Tip: I doubt there is a bad room, but I'd choose the Mt. Baker again.

We spent two nights in the Mt. Baker Suite, and the clouds cleared so we could actually see Mt. Baker - a beautiful view! The accommodation was very clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable and oversized jetted bathtub a treat! Breakfasts were wonderful, and our hosts (Becky and Dave) were too. The gardens are stunning (complete with visiting deer) and my husband enjoyed his rest on the hammock. Would very much like to return, but next time will take our bicycles - the island looks like a lovely place to cycle. Also recommend the mussels at the Front Street Grill, but suggest you make a reservation as it is very busy!
