I had a great stay last weekend in this hotel. Enjoyed the variety of restaurants. The service was great, food was delicious and the hotel is right in the middle of everything. Its a great value. Highly recommended.......

My Fiance and I stayed two nights in a fireplace suite with our Labradoodle. Anyone who is traveling with pets should highly consider staying at the Sierra Nevada Resort. The staff is friendly and the lobby has a few great seating areas to warm up, play chess or just relax by the fire. Our room was excellent. Heated toilet seats, bathroom floors, soaker tub and giant glass enclosed shower are a great way to warm up after hitting the slopes. Can't wait to go back and have another night in the big king size bed with the blackout curtains drawn drowning in the many pillows and soft blankets. LOVE this place!

Room Tip: Fireplace suites are the best, especially if you want to do some of your own cooking. Kitchenette is...

Recently got a chance to stay at the Grand Sierra while visiting Mammoth on business. Let me just say the new remodel has done wonders for this cute place! My boyfriend & I stayed in one of their "fireplace suites" and it did not disappoint! Great room with nicely remodeled bathroom. There was even a Black Tie Ski Rental location in the hotel which made it very convenient for us to grab our skis, hop on the trolley stop right across the street, and head up the mountain. Nice place & convenient location, especially for the price compared to other outrageously priced hotels in the area. "Best bang for your buck" I would say :)

I stayed at the Sierra Nevada Resort and Spa, recommended by a friend. I was happily surprised by the size of the room. It was beautifully decorated, and the fireplace with leather chairs in front made time spent in the room very relaxing. Nice kitchenette, with table for four. My favorite features were in the bathroom though; heated toilet seat, heated floors, and a huge shower. The three restaurants on the property were excellent, great food and atmosphere. The service and staff was first class. I would not stay anywhere else in Mammoth.

Great place, great service, kids club, pets allowed. Great value. Our 3rd year in a row staying here. We play pool in the lobby, enjoy the hot tub, bring our little dog. It's a really nice place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone. Oh, did I mention the free champagne?

Dear Ginger Z,

Thank you for posting this wonderful review of your recent stay at Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa. We are very proud to be able to say that we offer more luxuries than any room in town, and that includes our numerous onsite amenities.

In addition to our lobby’s pool table, as well as our hot tub and Cub Club (our free kids club with Xbox Ones, Foosball, air hockey, arts and crafts and a movie theater with popcorn), other amenities we offer include: a historic wood bar and fireplace in our very sociable lobby; a computer station also in the lobby with property-wide WiFi; the only spa within a lodging property in the neighborhood; 3 wonderful onsite restaurants; 4 lively bars; a dry sauna and steam room; shuttle service to the Mammoth/Yosemite Airport; a swimming pool; and mini golf.

We look forward to seeing you next year for your fourth visit, and being able to provide you with another pleasantly memorable experience and more of our genuine mountain hospitality!

Thank you again,
GM

I'm not one for having a chair massage but man-o-man. After a long day, the lodge was offering a free 5 minute chair massage in their lobby next to a roaring fireplace and I couldn't pass it up. Didn't think it would make much a difference but I was wrong. It really changed my outlook and helped me start to relax going into the weekend.
When I was done, there was a line 5 deep behind me of weary road warriors waiting their turn.
What an excellent thing to do for your guests!
Thank you Melissa. I feel better now.

Dear Bigpaddy5,

Thank you for taking the time to post these great comments from your recent weekend stay at Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa, the newest and nicest destination resort in Mammoth Lakes.

Although we have recently remodeled many of the rooms on our property, what really sets us apart is our absolute insistence on providing exceptional levels of guest service, and we are delighted to learn that you appreciated the genuine mountain hospitality of our team again on this visit – and our free 5-minute chair massage in particular. As you are well aware, traveling almost always poses a unique set of challenges, and we have learned having this option available to our guests adds a tremendous amount of value and helps to provide maximum enjoyment of time away from the grind.

Your posts are always very flattering; it’s extremely rewarding to receive such glowing feedback time and time again from a repeat guest!

Thank you much,
GM

Another great stay at the SNR for a ski week in Mammoth Lakes. Love the rustic Sierra vibe.

We stayed in a different fireplace suite this time. They are very roomy and perfectly comfortable for a small family. We love the breakfasts at Rafters and it's a quick one minute walk on the grounds of the resort.

The Cubs Club/Kids Club has been a lifesaver for us as we are able to drop the kids off there get away for an adult break.

Brent, the GM is awesome and everyone at the front desk is always very helpful. The courtesy shuttle is available to drop you around town which is another added bonus.
