“Fun and Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2011

We have gone to Mammoth over the years and have always enjoyed our breakfasts here at The Stove. They also serve other meals.

The decor is country kitchen and fun, the servers are pleasant and accommodating to special requests, and we've enjoyed the food. It's a busy place -

“Lived up to its reputation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2011

We stopped for breakfast on our way out of Mammoth on our way to Tahoe on the Friday morning before Labor Day. We went around 9:30... lucky to have no lines, seated right away and great service. RIght after we were seated a large group of motorcyclists came by so we are glad we got there first to avoid waiting. The atmosphere was rustic, casual, perfect for the area.
The food was excellent....one of the best omelets I've had, lots of fresh ingredients, great jam condiments to the toast ....definitely will come here next time we are in the area

“You won't leave hungry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2011

Famous "locals' place. Absolutely nothing fancy - just a diner that serves "comfort" food in a friendly atmosphere. Huge amounts of food, reasonably priced, breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Don't come unless you're hungry - many portions could be split/shared with a friend - no problem. Enjoy the friendly "locals" & get away from the LA crowd.
