“Beautiful property”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

We had a night here & were upgraded to a suite, which was gorgeous! I had booked a standard room way back in December but due to the Yosemite closure they had loads of people rearranging plans so to accomodate them, they upgraded us. So we had a place big enough to live in! Full kitchen, lounge area, downstairs full bathroom & a bedroom & double shower room upstairs with TV in the bedroom & lounge. There was a wrap around balcony with seats, overlooking the mountains but it was a bit cold for sitting out. In fact we awoke to snow!
The walls were very thin but there was little road noise as we were at the side of the building.
Mammoth is quite spread out but we were within easy walking distance of Von's & a selection of nice looking restaurants. We went Mexican at Roberto's.
I didn't think breakfast was included but was pleased to find it was & it was a lovely spread.
No complaints really. Quite the opposite!

Did a short road trip out to the Eastern Sierra to see the Fall Color. While in Mammoth Lakes, we stayed at the Mammoth Creek Inn.

The location is very good, close to a lot of dining, shops and even a theater. But it's also in a quieter part of the street so not a lot of outside noise.

Rooms are cozy, so do not expect Vegas sized suite rooms. Bed are very comfortable. Bathrooms are nicely updated with good toiletries.

The breakfast is good for a quick bite, good selection of breads, pastries, donuts, cereals, oatmeals ...etc.

Staff is cordial and professional and quick to offer suggestions for area dining.

Room Tip: Walls are paper thin, would recommend a room on the second floor if you are a light sleeper.

Rooms are good with comfy beds. Lobby area is nice with free coffee/tea. You get free complementary breakfast. They have a spa and gym. Price quality is good! Mammoth lakes is wonderful and the hotel is in a good location. The village is about 5 min drive.

Had my tour group here for three nights in late Sept/early Oct with nine rooms. TIm (General Manager?) was very helpful and responded positively to every request I had for clients. Breakfast was fine, spa area was clean when used by the group.

Great location: There is USFS open space beyond the parking lot on the south side of the building.

One thing I would recommend when making a reservation: Either request a second floor room, or if you need a first floor room, request one at the back of the building. Reason: First floor rooms at the front of the building look out at a building that is only about ten feet away. But then you really shouldn't be spending that much time in your room if you are in Mammoth ;-)

Room Tip: One thing I would recommend when making a reservation: Either request a second floor room, or if you...

Hotel quite nice. The lobby is very characteristic. The rooms are average, with free wii fii connection. Very nice the spa area. The pool, in particular, is truly remarkable. Breakfast average. Staff friendly and helpful.

We stay on this Hotel only 1 night, very welcome staff, and friendly, they give to us the room 92 ... very comfortable bed big bathroom , all very good, you can have in the main hall, Te, coffee, or hot chocolate.. and cookies. the breakfast is very good, but not great as they offer .
The problem had is the noisy from the room over us, the flushed of toilette, all movement of rooms wake up you very easy ... no recommend ground floor rooms, ask for 2 floor rooms if you want sleep.

Room Tip: rooms on second floor, avoid lower rooms if you like sleep

There were a few minor annoyances: the shower didn't drain well, the ceiling heater in the bathroom didn't work at all, and the electric heater for the room made the room too hot if left on for more than a few minutes. But all in all, it is a fine place to stay. If we ever return to Mammoth Lakes, I would stay here.

Room Tip: We were in the front ground-floor room, which had the problems I mentioned.
